This page is the consolidated source of truth for how billing works on Welcome to West Georgia, including how to cancel, when refunds apply, and how sponsorship donations are protected by an automatic 90-day refund.
Overview
Welcome to West Georgia offers several paid products: Spark ($40/mo), Featured ($299/mo), and Anchor ($1,499/mo) monthly subscriptions; Builder partnerships (Spotlight, Series, and Anchor); Multi-Unit partnerships; one-off cinematic commercials; and Community Sponsorship donations to fund a reel for a non-claimed business. This page explains how each one is billed, when refunds apply, and how to cancel.
All payments are processed through Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers. Self-serve subscriptions can be canceled anytime through your Stripe customer portal or by emailing us at the address below.
Spark ($40/mo)
Cancel anytime. Cancellation stops all future renewals; we do not refund the current month.
Your benefits continue through the end of the current paid period. After cancellation, your followers and offer history are preserved for 30 days so you can re-subscribe without losing them. After 30 days the listing reverts to the free Listed baseline.
Featured ($299/mo)
Cancel anytime. Cancellation stops all future renewals; we do not refund the current month.
Your cinematic commercial stays live for 30 days after cancellation so you do not immediately lose your placement. Quarterly commercial production stops at cancellation regardless of how far along it is.
After cancellation you keep your delivered commercial files (raw and edited) per the Featured Listing Agreement, your lead inbox export is available for 30 days, and the listing reverts to the free Listed baseline at the next renewal date. There is no claw-back of work already delivered.
Anchor ($1,499/mo)
Anchor requires 30 days’ notice to cancel. Email us at the address below to start the cancellation.
If you cancel mid-cycle, we issue a pro-rata refund for cinematic content scheduled for the current month that we have not yet delivered. Work already delivered is not refundable.
Your Anchor badge, hero placement, and other benefits remain through the end of the paid period. Delivered commercial files stay yours per the Anchor Listing Agreement, and your lead inbox export is available for 30 days after the period ends.
Builder Partnerships (Spotlight, Series, Anchor)
Builder partnerships are governed by the written engagement terms confirmed at booking.
• Spotlight: a 50% deposit is collected up front and is non-refundable once paid, because production is scheduled against it. A reshoot is allowed within 7 days of the first cut for factual corrections only.
• Series: cancel with 30 days’ notice. We issue a pro-rata refund for any videos in the series we have not yet delivered.
• Builder Anchor: cancel with 30 days’ notice. We issue a pro-rata refund for any undelivered quarterly videos.
In every case, work already produced and delivered is not refundable.
Multi-Unit Partnerships
Multi-Unit partnerships are governed by a Master Services Agreement (MSA) with a minimum commitment period. Refund and cancellation terms follow that MSA.
Early termination before the end of the committed term carries an early termination fee equal to 50% of the remaining contract value. Specific terms are confirmed in your signed MSA.
One-Off Commercials
A one-off cinematic commercial is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Default mechanics (subject to Chad’s confirmation, see /legal/one-off-commercial-agreement):
• Pre-production: a 50% deposit is collected at booking. If you cancel before the shoot, the deposit is refunded in full minus any third-party costs we have already incurred (location fees, talent holds, equipment rentals).
• Once the shoot starts: the deposit becomes non-refundable and the commercial is non-refundable after shoot day. The remaining 50% is invoiced on delivery of the final edited reel.
• If we cancel the shoot: you receive a full refund of everything paid.
• Revisions: 2 rounds of revisions are included. Additional rounds are billed at our then-current rate.

Free Commercial Waitlist
Joining the Free Commercial waitlist costs nothing and carries no service-level promise — we make no guarantee of if or when a free commercial will be produced.
You can withdraw from the waitlist at any time. Since no payment is involved, there is nothing to refund.
Sponsorship Donations
Community Sponsorship campaigns let residents fund a cinematic reel for a non-claimed local business. The production cost for a campaign is $275. The community funds half ($137.50) and Welcome to West Georgia matches the other half once the threshold is met.
Donations are charged at the moment you donate.
If a campaign reaches the community threshold within 90 days, the campaign is "funded." Donations become non-refundable at that point because production has been authorized and committed.
If a campaign does not reach the threshold within 90 days, every donation is automatically refunded in full through Stripe within a few business days of expiration.
Donations are not tax-deductible. Welcome to West Georgia is not a 501(c)(3) at this time.
Geo Restrictions
Sponsorship donations are accepted only from Georgia residents. We enforce a geo gate at checkout. If your billing address is not in Georgia, the checkout will block the transaction.
Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your card issuer, please contact us first — most issues we can resolve directly within a day or two. A chargeback filed without contacting us first may result in suspension of your account or claimed listing while the dispute is reviewed.
For undisputed legitimate refunds, we will issue the refund through Stripe rather than asking you to close a chargeback yourself.
Sales Tax
Where applicable, sales or use tax is calculated and collected at checkout via Stripe Tax. Georgia’s treatment of digital advertising and production services is evolving; we follow current Stripe Tax rules.
